Exhibition of Draft Dungog Flood Study

Pursuant to the provisions of the NSW Floodplain Development Manual 2005, notice is hereby given of the public exhibition of a Draft Dungog Flood Study. The Study has been undertaken with support from the NSW Floodplain Management Program and is a component of the Dungog Flood Risk Management Study and Plan.

The Draft Dungog Flood Study describes the existing flood risk and models that will be used to evaluate proposed flood risk management options in the Flood Risk Management Study and Plan which is due to be completed by July 2017.

The Draft Study will be on public exhibition until 31st March 2017.

The Draft Dungog Flood Study and accompanying maps may be viewed on line at www.dungogfloodstudy.org or at Council’s Administration Building at 198 Dowling Street Dungog.

Persons wishing to comment on the Draft Study should do so by 4:30pm on Friday 31st March 2017.  Submissions can be made –

Your submission cannot be considered as confidential unless requested by you in writing within your submission. All submissions should include the full details of the author. Under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009, certain information held by a Council may be released to members of the public upon application and/or included in the public forum.

In accordance with the Local Government and Planning Legislation Amendment (Political Donations) Act 2008, any person making a written submission after 1 October 2008 – either for or against a proposal – must also make a disclosure if the person has made a reportable political donation.
