Engineering Services
Council's Engineering Division consists of three areas:
1. Design and Assets
2. Operations
3. Water and Sewerage
Design and Assets
This section looks after the forward planning of Council's assets, designing new works and determining when assets should be replaced. It sources the funds necessary to undertake these works and also undertakes the design necessary to implement the works.
Operations
This section looks after the day to day operation of Council's engineering facilities including road and bridge maintenance, park and reserve maintenance and also the maintenance of Council's buildings.
Water and Sewerage
This section looks after the water and sewerage supply to Dungog, Clarence Town, Gresford, Vacy, Martins Creek and Paterson. It also deals with the construction of the new Sewerage Scheme at Clarence Town.
