Dungog Shire Open Space and Recreation Plan
Dungog Shire Council is preparing a ten-year Open Space and Recreation Plan that will guide the planning and development of public open space, sport and recreation facilities throughout the Dungog Shire.
Sport and Recreation are an important part of the Dungog Shire lifestyle, and the Plan will be informed by a strong understanding of community needs and priorities for the future.
Sport and recreation planning consultants, Otium Planning Group, are working with Council to prepare the plan and it is important that community members and stakeholder groups get involved and help define the vision and priorities for the next 10 years.
We are seeking views of the community and key stakeholders and there are a number of opportunities to participate:
• Online Community Survey
Share your thoughts on parks, sport and recreation facilities within Dungog Shire.
Click https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DungogCommunitySurvey to complete the survey which will take around 5-7 minutes.
The survey will close on 27 March 2022.
• General Community Drop-in sessions
Our consultants will be visiting many of the parks and facilities in the Shire and having conversations with community members as they meet them. Look for the black caps with green "Otium Planning Group" and feel free to stop and have a chat with the team. Please see below locations and times proposed for in-person sessions:
