Dungog Shire Council is advertising for Expressions of Interest for Residential Tenancy in Alison Court - Self Care Aged Units, off Brown and Dowling Streets in Dungog.

Dungog Shire Council is set to start work this month on replacing Bruxner Bridge, under a $16.44M NSW Government Fixing Country Bridges grant council received earlier this year to replace 23 of its 24 timber bridges across the shire, with council securing just over $1.4M to replace the ageing structure.
Monday 25 October marked the beginning of the regulated period for electoral material, ahead of the upcoming local government elections on Saturday 4 December.

$25M SPECIAL PURPOSE GRANT - DRAFT PROGRAM
As a result of Dungog Shire Council’s extensive lobbying during this year’s Upper Hunter by-election, council received a $25M Special Purpose Grant from the NSW Government to improve the condition of the shire’s local road network.
At this month’s council meeting, council received its quarterly progress report on its Delivery Program for the period 1 April 2021 - 30 June 2021.
There was a significant volume of works completed and commenced during this period, with highlights including:
