More Than $1 Billion in Support to Help Farmers Through Worsening Drought

With 99 per cent of the State now in drought the NSW Government has today announced further support with a $500 million Emergency Drought Relief Package, taking the NSW Liberals & Nationals total drought support to more than $1 billion.

Council at its meeting of 18 April 2018 resolved to place proposed amendments to flood planning controls in the Dungog area on public exhibition. Interested parties are invited to review the proposed amendments and have their say on them.

Keeping Our Children Safe

Dungog Shire Council have provided new Children Crossing Flags for all Shire schools to assist with supporting Pedestrian Safety around the school precincts.

Active Kids Program

Monday 5 February 2018

Through the Active Kids program, the NSW Government will provide a $100 voucher to parents/guardians/carers of school-enrolled children to use for registration and participation costs of sport and fitness activities.

Paterson River Flood Study

Friday 30 June 2017

Council at its Ordinary Meeting on 20 June 2017 resolved to adopt the Paterson river Flood study.

The study was completed in partnership with Maitland and Port Stephens Councils and covers a Study area reaching from the confluence of the Allyn and Paterson Rivers at Vacy to Hinton.
