Council has gratefully received $500,000 from State Libraries NSW for welcome improvements and additions to the much-loved Dungog Library.

Council is now working with the funding provider to finalise the requirements of the grant and design work.

Clarence Town Sporting Facility - Tender

Dungog Shire Council proposes to undertake construction of a sporting facility on Queen Street, Clarence Town, NSW. Council is inviting tenders for the construction of the new building and associated services.

Mayor’s Message

This week marks a new era for Dungog Shire, with the appointment of a new General Manager, Mr Gareth Curtis.

Gareth commenced with council on Wednesday 1 July and has already been speaking to staff, business owners and local residents about their priorities for the future of our community.

Dungog had reason to celebrate this week when Mayor Connors joined Member for the Upper Hunter, Mr Michael Johnsen MP, for the official announcement of $4.4 MIL in funding from the NSW Government to help rehabilitate three major Dungog roads.

Hunter Water Corporation - North of Dungog Community Update

Hunter Water Corporation has provided an update on the provision of safe drinking water to those customers North of Dungog that previously had a connection to raw, untreated water from the Chichester Truck Gravity Main (CTGM). Please see below for the update.
