BRIDGES

BANFIELD BRIDGE: 5T LOAD LIMIT 
Due to recent damage to the structure, Banfield Bridge at 20 Pinebrush Road, Glen William has been load limited to 5t.

PACKHAMS BRIDGE: 5T LOAD LIMIT

Due to the condition of the structure, Packhams Bridge at  570 Chads Creek Road at Halton has been load limited to 5t.

THALABA BRIDGE: CLOSED (DUE TO BEING UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

Alison Road is closed at the Clarence Town Road and Pine Brush Road intersections for the construction of the new Thalaba Bridge. There is signage directing motorists via Clarence Town Road to Clarence Town, Alison Road north to Stroud Hill Road and South to Pine Brush Road.

FOSTERTON BRIDGE: CLOSED (DUE TO BEING UNDER CONSTRUCTION)

From Tuesday 4th October, Fosterton Road will be closed in both directions for the construction of the new Fosterton Bridge. Detours will be in place via Stroud Hill Road.

All remaining bridges are open with ongoing monitoring of weather impacts. Updates will be provided as they become available and we thank you for your co-operation. 

ROADS

Public Notice - Temporary Part Road Closure

In pursuance of the provisions of Section 122 of the Roads Act 1993, notice is hereby given, that Dungog Shire Council has approved the following Temporary Part Road Closures for a road event in Dungog on Saturday, 29 October 2022 from 2.30pm until 5.30pm:-

  • Dowling Street Northbound between Mackay and Brown Streets;
  • Brown Street Westbound between Dowling and Lord Streets;
  • Lord Street Southbound between Brown and Mackay Streets; and
  • Mackay Street Eastbound between Lord and Dowling Streets.

Appropriate Traffic Management will be conducted by the event holder.

Currently all other roads are OPEN. Please drive carefully.

> NOTE: Removing or tampering with council warning signage and barriers could result in someone being seriously injured. Members of the public are urged NOT to remove these items at any time.
