Property Information Request Form

Use this form to request development application information, property site plans and approval certificates. 

If the property is a lot created post 1 July 2010, the information will be provided under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (NSW) (GIPA) legislation as ‘open access’ free of charge in at least one form (usually electronic or in-person inspection of the file).

Some documents cannot be provided due to copyright laws, however, often can be made available for in-person inspection. 

Where required, personal details will be redacted to protect the privacy of individuals.  

Many properties have development application information pre-1 July 2010 which is not ‘open access’ information under GIPA and archive searches will be required. On receipt of the Property Information Request application form, staff will advise which fees and charges apply for the application to proceed, and if there is a possibility of additional charges (e.g. for very large file searches), a fee estimate will be provided.
