Shire Aquatic Precinct and Williams River Holiday Park Precinct Plans

Have Your Say on the Future of Local Pools and the Williams River Holiday Park

Dungog Shire Council is inviting residents, community groups and stakeholders to help shape the future of two important recreation and tourism projects: the Dungog Aquatic Precincts and Williams River Holiday Park.

Community engagement will inform an Aquatic Precincts Master Plan for Dungog Memorial Pool and Clarence Town Swimming Pool, alongside a Precinct Plan for Williams River Holiday Park.

Council wants to understand how these places are used, what people value, what could be improved and which priorities should guide future planning. Feedback will help identify opportunities to improve access, inclusion, facilities and recreation, while considering community needs and the character of each location.

Two engagement days will give participants the opportunity to speak directly with the project team.

People unable to attend can complete the online surveys from Tuesday 6 October until 6 November.

Everyone is encouraged to participate, including people who do not currently use the pools or holiday park.

Community feedback will be considered alongside technical advice and site conditions to inform the plans.
