Waste & Recycling
Current updates with May 2025 Severe Weather Event:
Flood waste clean-up:
Dungog Shire Council in collaboration with JR Richards is providing a localised storm waste drop-off service to support residents impacted by the recent severe weather event. This will be a staged approach commencing with our most affected townships. A separate stage will deal with affected rural areas with direct consultation with impacted landowners over the coming days, and once conditions improve.
Large hook bins will be placed at a location within the major flood-affected areas to allow affected residents to dispose of their storm waste during specific times.
