Waste Management Facility Operation

This is a solid waste Class 2 licenced facility that accepts most solid waste including green waste and asbestos (see below for conditions). The facility now also offers a free e-waste recycling service. Tip fees are charged on all mixed waste, unsorted recyclable material and garden waste. Fees do not apply to ferrous and non ferrous metals, clean cardboard, electronic waste, batteries (vehicle and household), motor oil (up to 50litres per person), ink cartridges and sorted domestic recyclable containers.

Additional services provided at the landfill include a DrumMuster facility for clean empty veterinary and farm chemical containers (by appointment - paperwork to be completed), a waste oil collection service, an e-waste recycling service, domestic recycling, cardboard, ferrous and non ferrous metals, and a second hand shop. Also please note: The Waste Facility is unable to accept asbestos and large deceased animals until further notice.
