Development/Construction Certificate Application
Development Applications, Construction Certificates and Principal Certifier Appointments are all required to be lodged through the NSW Planning Portal. It is recommended that applicants consult the Development Application Checklist(PDF, 238KB) to assist in the preparation of an application, this checklist also includes information on supporting documentation and plans that may be required to accompany the application. The 2024 Minister's Statement of Expectations Order now requires submitted Development Applications to be lodged within 7 days. If Development Applications do not meet lodgement requirements upon submission they may be returned back to the applicant for additional documents or changes to be made.
Dungog Shire Council also offer Pre-DA meetings with Council Officers to discuss their development prior to lodging a Development Application. Further information and the application form can be found here.
