Durham Road Construction Update

We would like to inform the community of the planned construction activities on Durham Rd, Gresford, from March 18 to March 22, 2024.

Here's a breakdown of the scheduled activities:

 

Monday 18th March:

* Import base course material

* Trim and shape

* Concrete driveways and footpath installations

 

Tuesday 19th March:

* Pavement stabilisation

 

Wednesday 20th March:

* Pavement stabilisation

 

Thursday 21st March:

* Pavement Curing

 

Friday 22nd March:

* Bitumen Seal CH25-400

 

Please note that the construction activities scheduled for this coming week are highly sensitive to weather conditions, particularly wet weather. Unfortunately, the forecast for the coming week predicts unsettled weather, with showers likely on most days .

 

These scheduled activities will also impact residents' access to their properties. The Contractor will directly liaise with affected residents throughout this period to minimise disruptions.

 

Additional Traffic Control measures will be implemented during pavement stabilisation and sealing operations.

During these works, access to Gresford Garage & Rural will be restricted. We are consulting with and working closely with the Garage to minimise impacts on their business as much as possible.
