Dungog Shire Council is committed to continuously improving the way it works so it can deliver better services and outcomes for our community, now and into the future.
The Business Improvement Strategy 2026-2035 sets out how Council will improve its internal operations, systems and service delivery over the next decade. It is our roadmap for becoming a more efficient, capable, and responsive organisation.
The strategy is built around five strategic pillars, each targeting a different area of organisational improvement.
Improvements are sequenced across three delivery horizons, recognising that some things can be done immediately while others require more planning, investment or capability to build first.
Work already done that establishes the foundation for everything ahead including major technology upgrades, new systems and improved governance processes.
No and low-cost initiatives that deliver real value quickly such as better online services, improved internal processes and smarter use of existing tools.
Bigger, more complex initiatives that build on earlier work.
