TEMPORARY CLOSURE - Dungog Waste Facility

Important Notice: Temporary Closure of Dungog Waste Facility due to wet weather conditions

Following a thorough review and site inspection this morning, we regret to inform you that the Dungog Waste Facility is temporarily closed to the public for today.

The tip face is inundated with water due to the recent rain, and the access track to the disposal areas is slippery and unsafe for any public vehicle usage, including four-wheel drives.

To ensure the safety of our community and staff we have decided to temporarily close the site.

We will conduct another inspection of the site on Saturday morning to assess the conditions for access.

If you are planning a visit to the facility, please call the facility beforehand to determine accessibility.
