Join us at Dungog Library as we celebrate NAIDOC Week and recognise the rich history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Enjoy a morning of culture, storytelling, music and hands-on activities for all ages.
Date: Friday 10 July
Time: 10.00am
The celebrations begin at 10.00am with a traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony presented by Uncle Justin Ridgeway in the Library grounds. (Please note this is a standing event.)
From 10.30am, enjoy a Didgeridoo performance and community yarn with light refreshments, then head inside the library for a range of free, family-friendly activities including weaving, Storytime and clay workshops with Kara Clements.
Everyone is welcome. Come along, learn, connect and celebrate NAIDOC Week with our community.
