Nominations for the 2026 Australia Day Awards are now open.

 

Council is inviting the community to nominate individuals, organisations and teams in the following award categories:

  • Citizen of the Year
  • Young Citizen
  • Environmental Citizen
  • Volunteer (Individual)
  • Senior Sportsperson
  • Junior Sportsperson
  • Arts & Culture

Applications close on Friday 28 November 2025.

Please complete the below online form to nominate.

Nomination forms are also available from Dungog Information Centre, Clarence Town Post Office, Paterson Country Café,  Cross Roads Cafe & Takeaway - Gresford and Vacy General Store.
